Most of my gigs in recent times have been "unplugged" (unamplified) acoustic performances, except where the venue provided a PA system. I'm very excited that I have recently completed the purchase of my own PA system, including a classy Roland amplifier that makes my Takamine guitar sound as good as it does naturally. It's only a small amp but it has more than enough power to handle a large restaurant. The Shure mic for my vocals completes the setup perfectly.
